THE MANY FACES
Founded in 1989 by a mother looking to find that perfect balance between career and parenthood, Mary Goehring took a leap of faith, from which Transcription Plus was born. Decades later, she is happy and humbled to be providing, not only the best transcriptions services around, but opportunities for conscientious others to find that perfect balance in their lives as well.
In addition to Mary’s, there are many faces that make up our professional team. All come from assorted walks of life, have varying education, skill sets and different places they call home. It is because of this diversity and commitment to letting our team live their life outside of work that we are so successful and able to bring our passion for living life to the fullest to the services we provide to our widespread, steadfast clients.

Working at home for Transcription Plus with a flexible work schedule has allowed me to raise my family and not miss out on any important life events yet, my position as a medical transcriptionist allows me to be a productive member of the workforce. A great job for any Mom!
LindaI love the variety in assignments – I could be working on a government assignment one day and an orthopedic assignment the next. It certainly keeps things interesting and from getting too monotonous. I also love the flexibility of making my own hours. As a mom working from home, some days are certainly more busy and hectic than others and being able to work when I can is a huge benefit.

We know how important is it to keep things fresh, inviting and modern. Transcription Plus was excited to undergo a complete brand refresh, which included a new logo, website and marketing. We’re never afraid to make an upgrade and are so pleased with the results.

Transcription Plus, LLS wins the Best of Bristol award for “making Bristol a great place to live, work, and play”. We were honored to be taking home the 2016 accolade for exceptional Transcription Service. 25 YEAR MILESTONE
When Transcription Plus reached a quarter of a century of serving our amazing clients, it was time for a celebration. Not only were we honored at the CT State Capitol. Our ‘pay-it-forward’ charity hoe-down BBQ expressed the win-win philosophy of Transcription Plus.
20 YEAR MILESTONE
Transcription Plus reaches the 20-year mark of sustained documentation excellence provided to vast segments of professionals nationwide. We were humbled to have a day named in our honor by the State of Connecticut and are committed and excited to provide the same great service and accuracy for decades to come.
CHANGING LIVES ONE WORD AT A TIME
Transcription Plus hit a milestone of having an amazing team 50 deep. Each and everyone of our team members are able to work while living the life that they strived for. Their motivations are different, but needing the ability to achieve a proper work/life balance are an end goal for all. We are so happy to be able to help our staff reach their goals.
EXPANDED OFFERINGS
With the influx of cross-country clients Transcription Plus saw the need to widen their horizons and expand into other markets. Offerings now include everything from medical, business, research and government transcription.
FTP SECURE SERVER LAUNCHED
Come the dawn of the 21st century it was important for TP to stay ahead of the game. Transcription Plus’ scope was changed forever with the launch of their secure FTP server, allowing them to become not only entity, but a national one as well.
ENTREPRENEURAL SPIRIT FUELS GROWING COMPANY
A few years of drive and determination found Transcription Plus overwhelmed (in a good way) with enough work to justify bringing on the first full-time employee. Mary was firm on wanting to provide other mothers the opportunity to work from home, so set out to build her team from the ground up.
COMPANY BORN FROM FAMILY PRIORITIES
In 1989, it became apparently what was important in life. Now CEO, Mary realized that it was time to quit her job and figure out how to support her family while working from home.
